International Property Brokers forecast annual real GDP growth to dip to around 5.8% in 2007, and then slightly below 6% in 2008. Annual average inflation is forecast to quicken to 12.6% in 2007, before slowing in the following year. The currency will weaken only moderately in nominal terms against the US dollar. The current-account deficit is expected to widen in both years of the forecast period, rising to 5.9% of GDP in 2008.
