The tenant is responsible for all costs incurred such as water and lights and council tax. It could amount to quite a hefty sum, so make sure of the amount payable by you every month. The landlord will require a deposit of one or two months rent in advance. Houses were let for a period of six months in the past but this has now changed and very few letters will let their property for less than twelve months.
