The United States Relations with International Community

The term Anglo-American relations refers to bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and the United States. The special relationship is a term used to emphasize the warmth and cordiality of the relationship between the leaders and military forces of the two countries and used to describe Anglo-American relations in a positive light; however, Anglo-American relations have gone through times of war and conflict as well as peace and close cooperation. The term transatlantic relations as used in the United Kingdom usually refers to Anglo-American relations, as the United States and the United Kingdom lie on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean.

The United States of America has vast economic, political and military influence on a global scale, which makes its foreign policy a subject of great interest and discussion around the world.
